Magnetism is a product development company based out of New York City. We work in a variety of media, including the web, desktop software, t-shirts, print and games. We combine cool ideas with good design and fresh technologies to nice stuff. Usually we find something that we want to exist and if nobody else has made it yet we build it ourselves.

Magnetism is the new name of our ever-evolving studio. We started back in 2002 as Monkey Business Studios, then evolved into Zap Labs. We started developing widgets for the Mac in 2005 under the name Monkey Business Labs. In 2006 we released Insanely Great Tees, our line of Apple-themed t-shirts. In 2007, we're changing our name to Magnetism (we realized we needed a name that didn't contain the word Insane or Monkeys, something a bit more respectable, but still with a kick to it). Now, we're launching a new brand, the Bureau of Communication, responsible streamlining human relations around the world. And we're just getting started, stay tuned because we've got plenty of tricks up our sleeves.

Over the past two years we've provided consulting services for Apple, Adobe, Orange, Westin, Red Bull, The Directors Bureau and many others. As the platforms continue to evolve, we're able to create compelling experiences for your customers.

Game Development Under the Monkey Business Studios brand we completed a series of interactive games in the Flash environment. Recently we have begun a series of initiatives to create unique online games and experiences. Unlike traditional video games, these new forms encourage social play and experimentation.
